C.A.B.E.R. FUND

 

C.A.B.E.R. FUND, is a nonprofit Corporation with a mission to reach with help the poor communities and children in the poor communities in order to have an opportunity and better future. C.A.B.E.R. works with persons of the communities and of different ethnics and cultural groups who can be inspired by a vision of faith and possibilities taking to the poor the basic and educational rights with the help of donations.

 

C.A.B.E.R. Stands for "Children, Adult Basic and Educational Rights Fund", a NAFA division approved the motion presented by the President Teresita DJ Barrera, which consisted in the donation of ALL THE NECESSARY FUNDS COLLECTED THE ENTRANCE TO THE RADISSON HOTEL at the FIRST HISPANIC-AMERICAN EDUCATION CONGRESS E.S.T.U.D.I.A. 2003.

Said funds were collected to be donated to the most unprotected children of the Republic of Guatemala, through the distinguished Mr. Ramiro de Leon Carpio Foundation, in his position as late President of that beautiful nation, as well as in his position of Former President of NAFA before all the Spanish speaking countries of the American Continent.

This distinguished lady Ms. Barrera, President of N.A.F.A., knowingly the biggest necessities from which thousands of Guatemalan children suffer every day and with the humbleness that corresponds to the greatest souls, requested this money to be sent to such sector of our Brown America, as historically Gabriela Mistral would once refer to them, the people that have been so left aside.

All the funds that are collected by E.S.T.U.D.I.A. 2005 in the Bandstand Avon Park Hotel, NAFA will be sent through Ex-president Mr. De Leon Carpio Foundation, together with school implements and vitamins to the most needed kids of Guatemala.  The delivery of these funds will be personally handled by the distinguished Ecuadorian lady and NAFA Executive Director and President, Mrs. Teresita DJ Barrera Muñoz.
