LETTER TO GEORGE W. BUSH OF THE WHITE HOUSE

April 27, 2003

Honorable President George Bush
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

HONORABLE Mr. President George Bush:
This Association, National Association for Foreign Attorneys NAFA of 6000+_ foreign professionals members and its founders have been always supporters of this great Nation and defenders of our US Constitution. We are admirers of the Bush's Family love for this great Country, and, we help and support in everyway we can the Republican Party. Mr. President, I have had the great honor and the distinguished pleasure of receiving your correspondence in the past, and on one occasion in special, just after the infamous terrorist's attack of 9/11 when I wrote to you from NAFA. I am a Cuban American who, as his first patriotic act, enlisted volunteer to the US Army on May 10, 1973 to the Viet-Nam's War, when there were no volunteers enlisting!

Now, and since November 1993, NAFA and I are committed to help.

Honorable President Mr. George Bush from NAFA the foreign professionals arriving in this Country, in order help them validate their degrees to able them to work again in their professions in this great Country. We are doing all this with private funds and NO government's funds are requested. Now Mr. President we are reaching to you with great sorrow in a most uncomfortable position of bothering our Honorable President for help. We are enclosing to your attention and for your perusal, our written petitions and documents of support which these have been sent to every proper place and authority to NO avail. We are sending now a similar request to our Governor Mr. Jeb Bush. We believe that a great injustice and violation of our US Constitutional rights to pursue a better life through our professions are being violated right now by the Florida Bar Association with its new rules. The Florida Bar has petitioned and obtained approval for a new rule which prohibits the foreign attorney to work as an independent Paralegal and these foreign attorneys are being now persecuted and dozen of them accused of a felony act, to work as an independent Paralegal, something that has been legally accredited in Florida for years by the Florida Supreme Court and various Federal Government Agencies.

Mr. President, Could you please help us?
Thank you and God bless you and bless America!

Respectfully yours,

Teresita DJ Barrera
CEO of NAFA.
