Program Description
This is a comprehensive course in a specialty in US immigration law, on the subject and topic of immigration, waivers, labor certification, special visas for agricultural workers, asylums, deportations, and other important topics - read below for details.
Admission Requirements
(1) NAFA Membership Approval*;
(2) Foreign law degree transcripts;
(3) Two letters of recommendation;
(4) Submission of resume / curriculum vitae (CV);
(5) Written statement of purpose / intent in taking this course and program; and
(6) Telephone or video interview, if requested.

These graduate level programs are comprehensive study programs and are only available to candidates whom have already completed a law degree and graduated outside of the United States. The program does not have thematic specialties and courses taken by LL.M. students and graduates. The screening is also determined individually by a NAFA staff member, based on the member's interests.

Very important reminder that an English proficiency exam (TOEFL) is not required for admission to this program but recommended in the event of future career options. The Immigration course is certified by the Florida Bar. In addition, there is an optional in-person review process. This optional in-person part contains the same subjects and books for remote study - for this reason it is optional, and has no additional cost. By completing some of our core classes and seminars, you will receive Florida Bar credit in CLE credits.
